Brookside Farmhouse is just 5 miles from Jay Peak Resort hidden
away on 3 acres with its own brook, woods and meadows. It is new
to the northern Vermont vacation rental lodging market of vacation
properties, having been refurbished over summer 2007. Brookside
farmhouse invites its visitors to enjoy a step back in time with
its original warm wooden plank flooring, antique furniture, a true
Vermont farmhouse and yet still providing its guests with all modern
amenities including high speed internet access, cable TV, phone
service, DVD players and a full-size pool table for the enjoyment
of its guests.
Brookside Farmhouse sleeps a maximum of 14 persons and has 5 bedrooms,
2 bathrooms. Upstairs you have a large master bedroom with queen
size bed and sitting area. There are two rooms with double beds
in each and a smaller room with 2 twin beds. Downstairs is another
bedroom with a full size bed and a pair of wooden bunk beds and
an adjacent full bathroom. In addition, there is an alcove with
a pullout sofa bed bringing the total to 12 persons.
For snowshoe and x-country skiers, you'll love the fact that this
Vermont vacation rental has almost 200 acres of woods, meadows and
trails just outside the back door with pristine views of Hazen's
Notch. No snow-mobiles or ATV's are allowed
on this land. Your Vermont winter holiday activities
is right outside your back door. We can also provide discount lift
tickets for superb skiing and snowboarding at Jay Peak Resort and provide complimentary assistance with putting together
a vacation package with activities to suit everyone in your family
or group.
In summer, explore the fairytale woods, fish in the brook and cook
your fresh trout for supper. Provided the river isn't flowing too
quickly, you can enjoy basking in the sun and on the glacier rocks
surrounding the small swimming holes. Children will enjoy berry picking in the garden as well as use of the playground swing set.
